A friend is gone, and she is mourned by those who knew her and played with her at Rahway High School. June Williams Crafton, class of 1961, passed away all too soon on March 14, 2013. June will be missed. She was unique, a life force, not easily forgotten. We all have our memories of June. They will keep us smiling.
** "Although 10 years separated us at birth, nothing separated us as sisters. Miss you, sis."
Jane Williams Bobel, RHS Class of 1971
** "I'm sure June's summation of her life would be, 'I think I got my money's worth!' "
Tom Nolan, RHS Class of 1961
** "When I was 21, it was a very good year.
It was a very good year for city girls,
Who lived up the stairs, with their perfumed hair,
And it came undone,
When I was 21."
I WILL MISS HER!
Edwin O'Connor, RHS Class of 1961
** "There will be a little less sparkle, a little less joy, a little less to celebrate. My friend is gone."

Nancy was a wonderful woman, who lite up a room with her smile. She graduated from Jersey City State in 1968 and became a Flight Attendant for American Airlines. She became a "California girl" and lived in La Jolla, Ca. She loved skiing , biking, the beach, traveling, everything and anything as long as she wasn't sitting still.
Jesus welcomed her home, earlier than scheduled, during the American DC-10 crash in Chicago on May 27, 1979... She is still missed by all those, whose lives she touched.
